I was born on a farm in East central Wisconsin On April 14th 1939.
Educated in public schools, including a one room schoolhouse for the 5th through 8th grades. Graduated as school President from Plymouth High School in 1957. I went on to Technical school, vocational college and then graduated from the school of hard knocks.
Drafted into the army in 1962. I served two years of active duty then was discharged with a letter of commendation for excellence in radio station management. Then two years of active reserves and two years of inactive reserves.
I was a non-union laborer and a union laborer. On the management team of a fortune 500 Corporation. A business manager. And owner of a business.
I’ve lived at home, in small rented apartments, in rented houses, and have built and owned my own home.
I have been married. I have been a single parent. My son Colonel attended Hilo high school.
I’ve been broke. Lived on food stamps when needed, and have had a very good income.
Whatever your situation is I was probably there. Having shared these situations with you I know I can best represent you in the US Congress.
